PAL is a layout I have used for over three years. It suits my needs perfectly, and I am content with driving it daily for the rest of my life. It may have taken a while, but I'm very excited to finally be able to make it available to anyone else who might be interested. I'm not going to make a pretence of presenting something groundbreaking here. PAL is a straightforward keyboard and is still my favorite after all these years. I hope some of you will like it, too.

When I first saw PAL, I got really excited - finally, a 60% with a viable arrow cluster. A life stuck with a TKL or larger – and finally, some hope for a smaller footprint keyboard. Dimsum is a brilliant designer who, with PAL, has meticulously balanced aesthetics and simplicity. I was hooked immediately. It’s been a long journey to produce this project, longer than I intended, but we’re finally here. We’ve prototyped everything - the case, the PCB, and all the small accessory pieces. And we’ve managed to keep the price relatively low while keeping quality high.
